AiroTEC CMRU Welcomes Privy Councillor to Visit
"Zero Dust A Century of Chiang Mai Rajabhat University" Exhibition

On July 4, 2024, General Dapong Ratanasuwan, Privy Councillor, honored AiroTEC CMRU by visiting their booth showcasing the operations and activities of the Asian Air Quality Operations Center by Space Technology, Geo-informatics & Environmental Engineering (AiroTEC) at Chiang Mai Rajabhat University. The visit was part of the “Zero Dust A Century of Chiang Mai Rajabhat University” campaign, celebrating the university’s centennial anniversary under the theme “Stream of Wisdom Towards Sustainable Development.”
The event featured collaborations with AiroTEC’s partners and networks, including the Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (GISTDA), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) for sustainable environmental and air quality development under the SDGs framework, and the National Institute of Environmental Research (NIER) of South Korea, which demonstrated the Pandora ground monitoring system for air quality measurement. The Department of Royal Rainmaking and Agricultural Aviation presented their mission to address wildfire and haze issues in Thailand, while Dr. Hygiene Co., Ltd. showcased health products aimed at improving community air quality.
Dr. Ratchaphon Samphuphutthanont, Director of AiroTEC CMRU, Dr. Duangduen Thepnual, Asst.Prof. Worawit Suppawimut, Asst.Prof.Dr.Phathranit Kitthitinan, Deputy Director of AiroTEC CMRU, and the AiroTEC CMRU committee welcomed the Privy Councillor at the Chiang Mai Rajabhat University Wiang Bua campus.
This event aimed to foster collaboration between AiroTEC CMRU, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University, and external partners to elevate the quality of education and local development over the past century.
