AiroTEC center executives led environmental researchers from NIER Korea to meet with the Deputy Governor of Chiang Mai Province to discuss PM 2.5 dust extraction and join forces to move forward to solve the problem together.

Monday, March 11, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Executives of the Geo-Informatics Space Technology and Environmental Engineering Operations Center for Good Air Quality in Asia (AiroTEC), Chiang Mai Rajabhat University along with researchers from the National Institute of Environmental Research of the Republic of Korea (NIER). Met with Mr. Thotsapon Puanudom, Deputy Governor of Chiang Mai Province, at Chiang Mai City Hall. To discuss ways to detect and reduce the source of PM 2.5 dust in Chiang Mai Province. Including seeking measures to prevent impacts on public health. Ready to lay down guidelines for preventing smog problems. and give importance to the environment Through joint working groups between the AiroTEC Center, environmental researchers, NIER Korea, and Chiang Mai Province, such as developing the potential of tools and equipment. Including the exchange of various knowledge for sustainable clean air for people in the area.
