The AiroTEC Center co-hosted the 17th Thai Students Symposium on Geography and Geoinformatics (TSG17), which took place from January 25–26, 2025, at Chiang Mai Rajabhat University (Mae Rim Campus).
On January 25, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chatree Maneekosol, President of Chiang Mai Rajabhat University, presided over the opening ceremony of TSG17. This national academic conference was jointly organized by the Department of Geography and Geoinformatics, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University, and AiroTEC Center.
The conference served as a platform for knowledge exchange, research capacity building, technological application discussions, and spatial problem-solving strategies. It also aimed to enhance education and research quality in geography and geoinformatics, foster collaboration, and strengthen academic networks, which are crucial foundations for sustainable national development.
This year’s TSG conference brought together more than 500 faculty members, students, and researchers from over 20 universities across Thailand. The event was held at the Teepangkorn Rassamee Chot Auditorium, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University (Mae Rim Campus), Mae Rim District, Chiang Mai Province.
