AiroTEC executives traveled to a meeting to discuss cooperation and exchange academic knowledge on air quality and climate at the Faculty of Environment, Kasetsart University, Bang Khen. In addition, the team AiroTEC visits the 117–meter–high Near Surface Meteorological and Air Pollutant Measurement Station (KU Tower) on campus. The KU Tower can record meteorological data at various heights, along with air quality information of many types of pollutants such as PM2.5, NO2, SO2, CO2, and O3. This information is used to provide advanced air quality analysis.

In addition, they visited the research laboratory. They were welcomed and lectured on examples of diverse and in–depth research and operations that benefit the public with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Surat Bualert, the head of the research unit, welcomed, along with Asst. Prof. Dr. Pakpoom Chumanee and Asst. Prof. Dr. Thanyapat Thongyen, Faculty of Environment, Kasetsart University, on September 12, 2023.

AiroTEC, CMRU, is an agency under Chiang Mai Rajabhat University. It was established as an agency in society to work on the smog crisis jointly. This smog is considered a significant problem occurring in Chiang Mai and northern Thailand. In addition, creating this academic network will lead to operational guidelines for managing air quality and climate change in the future.
