On February 20, 2024, Lt. Col. M.C. Nawaphat Yukol attended the event for the handover and installation of positive pressure rooms, part of the project “Beyond the Village.” This project involves distributing and demonstrating simple DIY air purifiers and PM 2.5 dust-free rooms. It is overseen by M.R. Prima Yukol, his daughter, and aims to proactively enhance PM 2.5 dust prevention for children in schools affected by smog issues.

Furthermore, the project plans to expand its activities to border patrol police schools in Chiang Mai and Mae Hong Son provinces, continuously improving air quality and the environment.

On this occasion, Asst. Prof. Dr. Chayanan Sawatdeenarunat, Deputy Director of the Asian Air Quality Operations Center by Space Technology, Geo-informatics & Environmental Engineering (AiroTEC) and Deputy Director of the Institute of Research and Development, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University, welcomed him at Wat Padad School in Mueang District, Chiang Mai Province.
