AiroTEC Participates in Executive Space Technology and Geoinformatics Program to Strengthen Operational Networks

Dr. Ratchaphon Samphutthanont, Director of the AiroTEC, participated in the 11th Executive Space Technology and Geoinformatics Program (GISTDA Ex-11), organized by the Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (GISTDA). The program was held from August 16 to September 14, 2024, with the aim of enhancing knowledge and skills in Space Technology and Geoinformatics, as well as linking them with national strategies and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), under the concept “Get Ready for the New Era.”

 

This program included executives from various sectors, including leading private companies, government agencies, and educational institutions. Senior executives from different organizations joined to exchange knowledge and build collaborative networks for effectively applying Space Technology and Geoinformatics within their organizations.

 

The course focused on providing strategic insights into managing Space Technology and Geoinformatics. It offered participants the opportunity to learn from experts and exchange ideas both domestically and internationally. The program also included study visits to Rayong, Chonburi, Suphanburi Province, and Australia, enabling participants to share knowledge and experiences in effectively applying Geoinformatics Technology in various fields.

 

During the visit to Australia, the participants had the opportunity to explore the application of space technology in public administration and met with private sector entities specializing in Space Technology. The visit encompassed Canberra and Sydney, where participants studied innovative practices and explored cutting-edge technologies in the new technologies in this field.

 

Participation in this program, under the concept “Get Ready for the New Era,” will strengthen the operational network of the AiroTEC. It will benefit organizational development and the management of Geoinformatics resources, thereby supporting the country’s sustainable development in line with national strategies.
